Internship

Internship

The internship consists of an attendance period at the University laboratories or other connected institutions in order to gain practical experience in relation to the course content. The duration can vary depending on the type of activities carried out in the host laboratory and internship project agreed between the student and the supervisor. The scientific activities conducted during the internship can be used in order to prepare the Thesis. Access to internship is regulated by the Internship Regulation (shown below) and is coordinated by a specific committee chaired by Prof. Bevilacqua.

Note

A recent review of the Internship and Final Examination Regulation has led to a redefinition of the application for admission to the internship activities periods as a result of which the three periods previously provided have been increased to four and the requirement for the minimum credits access has been changed. To allow those who are in possession of the new requirements to access the internship, the period November 15 to December 7 has exceptionally been extended until 25 January 2014.
