Organization of the didactic activity for the academic year 2014-2015

The educational activities are yearly programmed based on the requirements of the degree, according to reports of the Course’s Didactic Regulation.

Teaching courses

All teaching courses necessary to execute the three-year course provided activities are activated at the beginning of each academic year. The fundamental courses proceed on two separate channels for each year of the course. Students are divided in two groups based on the serial number (group I, odd matriculation number; group II, even matriculation number). The curricular and optional courses provide one single channel for all students. The class timetable plans the activities provided for each semester of the course.

Examinations

A committee of examination is established for each course of the academic year, which also provides for the examination of students in previous years of the same degree program. The same committee also examines students in previous degree programs, when there is a substantial matching of the content of its courses. Additional committees are established for inactive teaching courses for a few years if there is still a substantial number of students, or may be set up on request. The exam calendar includes sessions programmed at the beginning of the year.

Internship and final test

The internship and the final exam complete the course and represent activities of practical nature, intended to deepen specific issues. The internship allows the students to have a brief work experience and can be fulfilled within university labs or affiliated institutions and companies. The final exam consists in the preparation and discussion of a thesis, which generally refers to the experience of internship and leads to the final title.
