Educational activities and examinations

The educational activities end with an examination whose evaluation is expressed in thirtieths or with a passing certificate. At the end of each semester, the student is evaluated on the basis of the examination and any tests during the course. Passing the exam determines the acquisition of the corresponding credits. The integrated courses provide a unique test for the joint review of all activities and modules provided by the course. The evaluation of the examinations in espressed in thirtieths. The exam is passed with a vote of not less than 18/30. Apart from the compulsory attendance in educational activities, evaluation of profit will not be directly related to the attendance indices. In case of negative evaluation, the student will be allowed  further examination in subsequent periods.

 

Reservations

Students are required to book online or by any other mode reported by the teacher in order to take the exam. It is responsibility of the student to verify, possibly with the help of the teacher, that the examination is actually required by the curriculum and that he can take it in compliance with the time periods provided for by the course. Exams taken out of the existing rules and regulations can not be validated for the student's career.

 

Examination Mode

Oral examinations may include a pre-assessment of the candidates by written test or online activities, but that is to be considered an integral part of the examination and does not constitute an independent review test. The examination should take account of the results achieved in any verification tests incurred during the course (course tests). Verification tests carried out during the course are included in the timetable of the training activities; their modalities are established by the teacher and communicated to students at the beginning of the course. The examination and/or course tests may consist of:

  • verification by questionnaire / numerical exercise;
  • written report;
  • report on the activities carried out in the laboratory;
  • scheduled oral exams;
  • automatic type verifications in the computer room.

 

 

Examination Sessions and Calendar

 

During the year the following exam sessions are scheduled:

  • ordinary: months of January, February, June, July;
  • extraordinary: September, before the start of the training activities of the next academic year;
  • supernumerary and reserved for repeating and off course students: May and November.

 

First year calendar

The dates shown could be subject to minor changes for organizational needs. Remember that the exam sessions marked with an asterisk are reserved for off course and repeating students (interested people are invited to check before booking).

Students are required to sign up using the teacher web-site or any other mode reported by the teacher. By rule, students lacking the reservation will not be allowed to take the examination.
