The tutoring service is available to all students enrolled in the Department's degree programs (bachelor's and master's degrees) and is designed to assist students in all phases of their educational path, with the aim of promoting meaningful participation in university life in all its forms and ensuring ongoing guidance.
Tutors are master's students, PhD students or hospital resident who support future students and new enrollees in finding their way at the beginning of a new university career.
Tutors are involved in organizing study groups (or individual classes) and activities that complement teaching, in order to improve the quality of learning and reduce the risk of dropouts.
Tutors support students in practical organization and in acquiring effective study methods, and help new students understand how the university works (timetables, study plans, exam registration, relationships with professors, administrative procedures, etc.).
To request the assistance of a tutor, please send an email exclusively to tutormed@unina.it, the responsible professor is Prof. Giovanna Maria Pierantoni.
The methods and timing of meetings are agreed directly with the students.
For any student who feel excluded from the university life because of disability, Specific Learning Disorders or temporary difficulties, the SInAPSI Center provides services like psychological counseling, as well as offering special support to students with specific learning disorders and disabilities and services against any type of discrimination.
